The Indiana University Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of Carmen Helena Téllez, will present a program of works by Jewish composers on Jewish topics this Sunday, Dec. 5, in Chicago. Women's Volleyball: The Hoosiers (23-11) survived their second five-set match of the weekend on Saturday, this time topping 11th-seeded and 19th-ranked Tennessee (25-7). Read the match notes.
Men's and Women's Swimming: Putting up among the five fastest times in school history in the men's 200 backstroke and the women's 400 freestyle relay, the Indiana men's and women's swimming teams wrapped up competition at the AT&T USA Swimming Short Course Nationals Saturday night. Wrestling: Kurt Kinser and Matt Powless each garnered third-place finishes at the 2010 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational as Indiana finished 16th in the team standings. Read the match notes.

3.8 million grant to fund mental health service study by Vanderbilt University and Indiana University
News.vanderbilt.edu, Dec. 6 -- Vanderbilt University's Center for Evaluation and Program Improvement and the Indiana University Center for Adolescent and Family Studies have won a $3.8 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health to study methods to improve mental health services. The five-year project will examine how to improve mental health services for youth and families in community mental health settings. Full story.

University of Oklahoma offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson will be named the IU football coach today at a 4 p.m. news conference in Bloomington, according to a person close to the Indiana football program.
