Legislative forum to be held at IU Alumni Association on Jan. 28

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Monroe County Chapter of the Indiana University Alumni Association and Hoosiers for Higher Education will sponsor their annual legislative forum on Friday, Jan. 28, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the DeVault Alumni Center, 1000 E. 17th St., on the IU Bloomington campus.
Area legislators, including state Sen. Vi Simpson, state Rep. Peggy Welch, and state Rep. Matt Pierce, will share their views on the biennial budget session of the Indiana General Assembly, followed by a Q-and-A with the audience. Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Kurt Zorn will moderate the discussion.
