Hoosiers travel to NCAA Championship

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The No. 10 ranked Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team (25-11) is headed to the program's second NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship on May 13-15 in Ann Arbor, Mich. at Canham Natatorium.
The Hoosiers earned a No. 6 seed after dropping rival Michigan in the CWPA Eastern Championship on May 1 to grab the conference's automatic berth into the field. Indiana will clash with No. 3 seed UCLA (24-6) in the first round at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13. The Bruins are also ranked No. 3 in the national rankings.
The winner of the Hoosiers' opening game will meet the victor of No. 2 seed California (24-4) and No. 7 seed UC San Diego (17-18). On the opposite side of the bracket, No. 1 seed Stanford (25-1) will clash with Iona, while No. 4 seed Southern Cal (18-6) plays No. 5 UC Irvine (21-8).
