Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie to become chairman of Internet2 Board of Trustees
Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie has been named vice chairman and chairman-elect of the Board of Trustees for Internet2 for the 2011-2012 academic year. IU Health Enters Into Affiliation With CVS' MinuteClinic
Beckershospitalreview.com, Yahoo.com, jconline.com, Aug. 11, 12 -- Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has entered into a clinical affiliation with CVS Caremark's Minute Clinic, according to a Minute Clinic news release. Under the agreement, IU Health physicians will serve as medical directors for 19 MinuteClinic locations, including 17 in the Indianapolis area, one in Bloomington and one in West Lafayette. IPFW looks to "re-imagine" academic future with use of iPads
Wane.com, Aug. 10 -- Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne announced Tuesday its professors will incorporate iPads in the classroom this year, hoping to "re-imagine" the school's academic future. The school said a 60-member faculty cohort will use iPads in their classrooms, as part of a brand-new project at the campus, "Re-imagining IPFW's Academic Future: Project #mobileEDU." Full story.

Indiana University to Investigate Text Mining Algorithms for Digitized Content
InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report, Hpcwire.com, Aug. 9 -- Indiana University's Data To Insight Center will lead a $600,000 grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to fund the first investigation of non-consumptive research for a major mass digitized collection of content.
