Media Advisory: IU President McRobbie to deliver State of the University address

EDITORS: The State of the University address will be broadcast to Indianapolis stations live via the IU Video-Link. Network affiliates are encouraged to contact local stations for assistance in obtaining a satellite feed.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University President Michael McRobbie will deliver the annual State of the University address Tuesday (Sept. 27) on the IU Bloomington campus. The address will be held at 2 p.m. in the Frangipani Room of the Indiana Memorial Union.

All members of the IU community and the general public are invited to view the address in person or via live-stream broadcasting at https://broadcast.iu.edu. A reception will follow the address in the East Lounge, located next to the Frangipani Room.

McRobbie is expected to discuss the progress IU has made over the last year, initiatives that are underway and the challenges the university faces as an institution of higher education.

McRobbie's address will also be available for viewing the following ways:

  • via live-stream broadcasting at: https://broadcast.iu.edu;
  • live on IU Bloomington Campus Cable (Channel 32);
  • on tape delay on Tuesday (Sept. 27) at 6 p.m. off-air on Digital Multicast Broadcast Channel WTIU-World 30.2 or on Comcast Cable Analog Channel 17 in Bloomington and repeated later that evening, at 11:30 p.m. off-air on Digital Multicast Channel WTIU-HD 30.1 or on WTIU Comcast Cable Analog Channel 5 in Bloomington;
