Basketball Hoosiers' return
The Indiana University men's basketball team is scheduled to return to Assembly Hall at 1 p.m. today (April 2) for a brief appearance before fans and media. All seating will be in the west stands. Television cameras will be able to set up in the traditional media row area in the west stands.
The full-scale salute to the Hoosier men's and women's basketball success, "A Celebration of Excellence," will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Assembly Hall doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Seating will be on the floor and in the stands. Risers will be provided on the floor for media. Media also are welcome to cover the event from media seats along the west stands.
Both events will be broadcast live via satellite uplink. For Tuesday, satellite time has been booked from 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on GE-3 (also known as AMC-3) transponder K-18, 87 degrees west, downlink frequency 12060 Megahertz vertical. Audio is 6.2 and 6.8 mono. For Wednesday's event, satellite time has been booked on the same transponder from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
