Library gets $500,000 gift

Indiana University Southeast announced Thursday that it has received a $500,000 gift from the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County for its library. The money will be used to keep the library current by buying electronic books, periodicals and other materials. "We are thrilled" by the donation, said Chancellor Sandra Patterson-Randles. "Our library is a state-of-the-art facility, and this contribution will go a long way towards keeping it that way."
