Stay in touch; Get 'news you can use' from IU!

January 23, 2007

Open your e-mail, and find IU news at your fingertips!

Indiana University introduced two new e-newsletters to subscribers about a year ago -- Active for Life and Live at IU -- both designed to keep IU friends in touch with what's happening at various campuses.

Over the next day or two, you -- and other IU alumni with e-mail addresses -- will receive the first edition of IU's brand new e-newsletter, Discoveries, which will be followed up in coming weeks by issues of the original two, Active for Life and Live at IU. And, you'll be given the opportunity to subscribe to Front Page News, which also launches this week.

There is no cost, no advertising, and subscribers' e-mail addresses will remain confidential with IU. Opting out of any or all e-newsletters is easy.

IU e-newsletters are a convenient way to stay in touch with your university. Subscribers will receive periodic e-mails sharing IU stories, news and event information -- all "news you can use."

Get a sneak peek at several of the e-newsletters at the following links:

Front Page News -- The top IU stories in the media, sent out most business days. View here.

Live at IU -- Music, art and entertainment, sent twice a month. View here.

Active for Life -- tips for improving your health and well-being, sent twice a month. View here.

Discoveries -- IU researchers and breakthroughs, sent bi-monthly.

You will automatically receive Active for Life, Live at IU and Discoveries, unless you opt out by clicking on "manage subscriptions" at the bottom of this letter. However, because of its frequency, you must subscribe to receive Front Page News by also going to "manage subscriptions."

Thanks for taking a look at IU's e-newsletters. Enjoy -- and stay in touch.
