Media advisory: More information on IU Trustees meeting
As previously announced, a special meeting of the Indiana University Board of Trustees will take place Thursday (June 5) at 10 a.m. CDT at the Musical Arts Center, located at 101 N. Jordan Ave. on the IU Bloomington campus. The trustees are expected to take action to name the 17th president of the university.
Television trucks may park in the circle lot in front of the Musical Arts Center. Other parking is available at the Jordan Avenue garage, which is located just north of the Musical Arts Center. Please advise us if you intend to bring a satellite truck so we can arrange for parking.
Following action by the trustees, the meeting will immediately transition into a news conference with a question-and-answer opportunity in the Musical Arts Center auditorium. There will be limited additional availability for media at the conclusion of the news conference.
The university will also make the new president available to the media in Indianapolis at the IUPUI Conference Center in the Indiana Room on Thursday from 2 to 2:30 p.m. CDT.
