Habitat for Humanity Build

Trish Vosekas, a Bloomington resident, joins volunteers and Habitat for Humanity members to begin work on the home she will occupy near the Indiana University campus. The house was built on the north side of IU's Memorial Stadium.

Many IU students, faculty and staff participated in the build.

Volunteers grab hammers and gloves as well as tie their shoes before working at the site.

IU junior Kait Baffoe helps drive nails into the platform that would become the foundation of the home.

Many participants left personal messages on the walls of the house before finishing touches were applied.

Dan Smith, dean of the IU Kelley School of Business, walks along the porch of the house before getting to work.

Trish Vosekas, holds up the key to her new house during a ceremony at the IU Football game against Michigan. Officials from Habitat for Humanity, Whirlpool and IU attended the ceremony.

Once completed, the home was moved from the north side of Memorial Stadium to its permanent location.
