Dancing with the Professors
Students from across Indiana University's Bloomington campus nominated the professors they most wanted to see get up and dance for the IU Ballroom Dance Club's first-ever "Dancing with the Professors" event. The mock competition paired professors with club members for two dance routines. In this video, biochemistry Professor Todd Stone and Ballroom Dance Club member Samantha Croy discuss the event -- and the friendly competition that arose within departments. This year (2009), marked the second mock competition (designed for club members' families to see them compete without having to travel far) and the first competition involving professors.
