Poynter Center director Miller to give Sonneborn Lecture on Monday

Richard B. Miller, a professor of religious studies and director of the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions, will present the annual Sonneborn Lecture at 4 p.m. Monday in the Frangipani Room of the Indiana Memorial Union. Richard B. Miller, a professor in the Department of Religious Studies at IU Bloomington, will receive the 2012 Tracy M. Sonneborn Award. Miller also has been named a Provost Professor along with Jerome Busemeyer in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and Daniel Perantoni in the Jacobs School of Music. Full Story >>

IU Bloomington student team reaches quarterfinals in National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl

Ethics Bowl Team

The Indiana University Ethics Bowl team advanced to quarterfinals of the National Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl, after winning the fall Central States Regional competition last November. This marks the fourth time IU teams have placed in the ethics competition. IU's Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions has sponsored the IU Ethics Bowl teams since 2001.
