IU Bloomington junior Nathaniel Sims receives 2013 Beinecke Scholarship

Indiana University Bloomington junior Nathaniel Sims is a 2013 Beinecke Scholar, one of only 20 students nationwide to receive the honor. A Hutton Honors College scholar majoring in linguistics and East Asian languages and cultures who will graduate in 2014, Sims spent this school year in Chengdu, China, through IU's Chinese Flagship Program. Five IU Bloomington professors awarded 2013 Guggenheim Fellowships

Five Indiana University Bloomington professors in the College of Arts and Sciences are recipients of the prestigious John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship for 2013. Poet Ross Gay, Polish translator Bill Johnston, biologist James Bever, linguist Robert Fulk and religious studies professor David Haberman are among the fellows notified earlier this month. College of Arts and Sciences moves to Owen Hall, administrative offices open March 19

The Office of the Dean of the Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences is packing and labeling boxes this week, preparing to move to Owen Hall, just steps north of its current home in Kirkwood Hall.
