Campus radio stations part of creative, educational journey

College radio is its own subculture on campus. The airwaves are yet another outlet for the young, the creative and the free-thinking. Indiana University in Bloomington says it offers "pure student radio" in the form of WIUX-FM (99.1). Based in an old house on 8th Street, it's staffed entirely by students who push independent music.
