BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana Memorial Union Board is currently accepting applications for this year's Live From Bloomington (LFB) CD through Oct. 28. Artists and bands are allowed one submission each for a fee of $10.

Selected artists will be notified Nov. 10 and will have the opportunity to perform live at LFB's Club Night 2010 this spring (April 15-16, 2010).

The Live From Bloomington CD is part of an annual philanthropic event focused on improving quality of life for Bloomington and Monroe County residents. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, LFB will continue the tradition of uniting Bloomington locals and students in support of community and social awareness. Donations will be accepted at the CD release event/Club Night with all proceeds benefitting Hoosier Hills Food Bank, an organization providing food for those in need in six area counties.

The Indiana Memorial Union Board is IU's largest student programming organization and also serves as the governing body of the Indiana Memorial Union. Founded in 1909 by John Whittenberger, Union Board is currently celebrating its centennial year, a year marked by reverence for tradition and commitment for innovation. The Board is composed of 16 student directors, four non-student directors and student committee members. Union Board provides the IU Bloomington campus with an array of event and activities, including concerts, lectures, films, a campus arts magazine and more.
