Media Advisory: Time change for news conference preceding Kinsey Institute gala benefit
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE CHANGE: The news conference preceding the gala benefit for the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction and the special preview of KINSEY on Saturday (Nov. 13) will be at 5 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.
The 30-minute news conference will be at 5 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the University Club, located in the Indiana Memorial Union on the IU Bloomington campus. Actress Laura Linney, KINSEY writer-director Bill Condon, executive producer Gail Mutrux, and Julia Heiman, director of the Kinsey Institute, will participate. Media credentials will be required for the news conference and the 7:30 p.m. screening of KINSEY at the IU Auditorium.
Credentials will be issued to working members of the news media. Please fill out the form below and return it to Larry MacIntyre, IU director of media relations, by e-mail, lmacinty@indiana.edu, or fax, 812-855-9161. Credentials can be picked up on Friday (Nov. 12) between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. in MacIntyre's office, Bryan Hall, Room 300. Credentials also will be available at the news conference beginning at 4 p.m., and at the IU Auditorium box office immediately before the 7:30 p.m. movie screening.
Parking for media attending the news conference and screening will be in the parking lot on the south side of the Indiana Memorial Union Building. That lot can be reached by turning south off of Seventh Street (traveling east from College Avenue) onto Forrest Avenue and circling behind the IMU. Television trucks may park on Seventh Street between the Main Library and the IU Auditorium. That area can be reached by turning west onto Seventh Street from Jordan Avenue.
