Homecoming festivities for alumni will begin Friday, Oct. 7, with the 47th annual Homecoming Parade. IU football coach Terry Hoeppner will serve as grand marshal. "Yell Like Hell," sponsored by the Student Alumni Association, offers students a jump-start on showing their spirit for Homecoming weekend. Participating groups prepare three-minute acts such as skits, dance routines, musical numbers and lip-syncing. The act with the most Homecoming spirit will be declared the winner. Two special acts will be joining student groups to add to the excitement -- the popular a cappella performers Straight No Chaser and Ladies First.
