IU Jacobs School of Music to dedicate performances to five students

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Following the loss of five Jacobs School of Music graduate students on April 20 in a plane crash near Bloomington, Indiana University will dedicate two concerts this weekend to the memory of their lives.
The concerts are:
Big Band Extravaganza (tonight)
Saturday, April 22, 2006
8:00 p.m. in the Musical Arts Center
Directed by David Baker and Pat Harbison, with special guests: Trineice Robinson, soprano, and Timothy Noble, baritone

8:00 p.m. in the Musical Arts Center, free admission
The IU Oratorio Choir and the IU Philharmonic, conducted by David Effron
The Oratorio Choir consists of around 300 Jacobs School of Music singers.
