Open house set for IU adapted physical education program
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- An open house is planned for Thursday (Nov. 7) for the Adapted Physical Education Program at Indiana University through the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
Students and faculty involved in the Department of Kinesiology program will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. in the main lobby of the HPER Building near Royer Pool to explain the program and discuss its operation.
The activity program is geared to individuals between ages 3 and 21 with physical, mental and emotional disabilities. The IU students have a chance through the program to interact socially with the children and young adults while the clients have the opportunity for physical activity.
