Media Advisory: Indiana University, Indiana National Guard to sign agreement

Editors: On Tuesday (April 7) in Indianapolis, Indiana University and the Indiana National Guard will formalize a partnership to provide specialized training in subject areas such as language, culture and customs and rules of law in counter-insurgency operations to civilian and military personnel working in developing nations.
The agreement will be signed by IU President Michael A. McRobbie and Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger, Indiana's Adjutant General.
WHAT: A memorandum of agreement will be signed by IU President McRobbie and Maj. Gen. Umbarger to formalize the relationship and responsibilities of the two entities.
