IU Bloomington students to hold welcome reception for President Herbert on Oct. 8
Student groups at Indiana University Bloomington will sponsor a welcome reception for IU President Adam Herbert and his wife, Karen, on Wednesday (Oct. 8). The reception will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the steps of the IU Auditorium.
Refreshments will be served. In the event of rain, the reception will be moved into the lobby of the Auditorium. Remarks will begin at 4:15 p.m. and will include comments by President Herbert.
Sponsors of the reception are the IU Student Association, the Indiana Memorial Union Board, the IU Student Foundation, the Black Student Union, the IU Pan-Hellenic Council, the Panhellenic Association, the Student Recreational Sports Association, Interfraternity Council, the Student Alumni Association and the Graduate Professional Student Organization.
