Media advisory: IU's Kelley School of Business to announce Growth 100 companies on Wednesday

EDITORS: The Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business will present its annual Growth 100 Awards on Wednesday (Nov. 19) in Indianapolis. This is the 10th year for the program, which recognizes Indiana's leading high-potential, high-growth companies.

The Growth 100 Award honors entrepreneurial companies with annual sales of at least $1 million. This year, 86 highly qualified privately owned companies were selected from across the state. Growth 100 companies are identified through an analytical process that is based upon high-performance organization research conducted by the Johnson Center.

IU Media Relations will issue a news release early on Wednesday with information on the companies being recognized, along with trend data about the kinds of firms in the survey and their contributions to state employment and revenue growth. You will be able to pursue individual stories about Indiana entrepreneurial success stories in your coverage areas that day.

The companies will be honored at dinner that evening at the Indiana Roof Ballroom, 140 West Washington St., Indianapolis, from 5 to 10 p.m.

In addition to the contacts listed with this advisory, you also will find information about the Growth 100 Awards program and the Johnson Center at the center's Web site at https://www.kelley.indiana.edu/jcei.
