Get the facts -- New IU electronic factbook available online

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Febuary 4, 2010

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Web-based Indiana University Fact Book for 2009-10 is available in a new online format featuring expanded university tables as well as over 500 new campus views. The new format allows readers to select any section of the IU Fact Book to view university-wide tables or corresponding tables for any of the IU-managed campuses -- Bloomington, IUPUI, East, Kokomo, Northwest, South Bend or Southeast.

The IU Fact Book provides current and archival information about the university -- such as year-by-year enrollment numbers, beginner profiles, graduation rates and financial aid numbers -- frequently requested by students, faculty, staff, alumni, media and others. The University Reporting and Research (URR) division compiles much of the information from data sources developed to respond to the planning, budgeting and governmental compliance requirements of the university. If a different source is used, the page indicates the university office providing the information.

The new format allows users to print out a single page of the IU Fact Book or a complete copy for the university or for any of the campuses. In addition to the format change, this year's IU Fact Book includes expanded information related to student enrollment demographics, financial aid, faculty/staff and finance.

Copies of the printed university-wide IU Fact Book are available from our office in either hard-copy form ($25/copy) or on a CD ($2/copy).
