IU Diversity Committees to meet in February

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University diversity committees are scheduled to meet on three campuses in February.
At IU Northwest, Diversity Annual Report Committee (DARC) will meet Thursday (Feb. 11), 2:30 p.m. CST, in Room 115 of the Library Conference Center on the Gary campus.
The IU Bloomington Diversity Committee will meet Feb. 16, 9 a.m., in the Charter Room of the Indiana Memorial Union on the Bloomington campus.
At IU Kokomo, the Campus Diversity Committee will meet Feb. 24, 2:30 p.m., in Room 130 of the Main Building on the Kokomo campus.
The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
