BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The rescheduled date for The Cleveland Orchestra's performance at IU Auditorium has been announced. The Cleveland Orchestra will perform Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 at 8 p.m. as the culmination of its residency at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music.
Tickets for the original Jan. 20, 2010, date will be honored for the rescheduled date. Additional tickets for the performance may be ordered when subscriptions for the 2010-2011 season go on sale April 25.
Refunds will be available for those who held tickets for the original performance but are unable to attend the rescheduled date. These refunds will be given at the location where the tickets were purchased and must be made before May 1, 2010.
This partnership between IU Auditorium and IU Jacobs School of Music will provide learning opportunities to students on campus and in the community. The IU residency, to take place during the week leading up to the concert, will include master classes, coachings, arts administration seminars and other community and educational activities. Plans call for every principal musician in The Cleveland Orchestra to teach a class for IU students; students will also have an opportunity to participate in side-by-side rehearsals with The Cleveland Orchestra.
