IU School of Fine Arts presents annual exhibition of Bloomington Photography Club

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Bloomington Photography Club Annual Exhibition will be on display at Indiana University's School of Fine Arts Gallery from May 11 to May 21 with an opening reception Friday, May 14, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at SoFA Gallery (1201 E. Seventh St.).
All events are free and open to the public.
The Bloomington Photography Club is Indiana's largest photography club, and this year marks its 18th-annual juried exhibition at the SoFA Gallery.
The club explores the connection between the eye, the camera and the spirit, fostering growth of artistic vision and technical knowledge for photographers of all skill levels. Included in this year's exhibition are photographs from various genres created by photo club members from Bloomington and the surrounding communities.
The Bloomington Photography Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church, 221 E. Sixth St. at 7 p.m.
