BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Floating lunacy in the form of creative cardboard boats skippered by Indiana University students, deans, community members and others will once again entertain crowds during the 10th annual Cardboard Boat Regatta on Friday (Sept. 24) at the IU Outdoor Pool in Bloomington.

Reigning champion Robert M. Goodman, dean of the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, will attempt a repeat of last year's victory.
Awards will be given to the fastest teams and most creative boat. The event, sponsored by the School of HPER's Council for Advancing Student Leadership, is organized to raise money for student scholarships.
