IU Diversity Committee to meet this week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana University Bloomington Diversity Committee will meet Wednesday (Jan. 19) at noon in Room 256 of the Department of Communication and Culture on the Bloomington campus. The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
