IU Union Board to present performance by comedian Sarah Silverman

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Comedian-actress Sarah Silverman will perform at Indiana University Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at the IU Auditorium.
The show is sponsored by IU's largest student programming organization, Union Board, and is part of a national book tour to promote Silverman's new book, The Bedwetter.
Silverman began her career as a writer and occasional cast member on "Saturday Night Live."
She followed up with comedy specials on HBO and guest-starred in a number of films, including Something About Mary, School of Rock, Heartbreakers, Funny People and Rent. Her one-woman show, Jesus is Magic, was released as a film in 2005. Silverman also hosted the MTV Movie Awards in 2007.
Tickets will be available starting Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com, at Ticketmaster outlets, and at the IU Auditorium Box Office.
Tickets purchased through the IU Auditorium Box Office are eligible for bursar billing. Tickets are $22 for IU Bloomington students and $35 for general public.
