Today, Nov. 28, Indiana University released the following statement on behalf of the Gates family:
Words cannot express enough our gratitude to the embassy general consul, the AUC International Student Association, the lawyers and translators, our family and friends, and IU associates for all of the tireless prayer, work and support throughout this ordeal. Luke is very happy to be home, and eager to continue his studies at IU.
