IU Press has its annual Holiday Book Sale this week
Free autographed books will be given to first 25 customers each day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The annual Indiana University Press Holiday Book Sale will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Georgian Room of the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E. Seventh St.
IU Press will offer complimentary autographed books to the first 25 customers each day, including The Kickin' Hoosiers: Jerry Yeagley and Championship Soccer at Indiana.
More than 300 titles are available in various subject areas including music, film, photography, art, history, paleontology, biographies, fiction, field guides, area studies and cookbooks, among others. Regional and bargain books will also be included, along with WTIU Public Television DVDs and select Purdue University Press titles.
Local titles of interest include David Baker: A Legacy in Music, based on the life of the IU Distinguished Professor of Music and living jazz legend; Paradise Kitchen: Caribbean Cooking With Chef Daniel Orr by FARMbloomington's Chef Orr; New Harmony Then and Now, a photographic historic celebration of an Indiana town; Ligonier: A Photographic Essay by Indiana University graduate Jeff Moerchen; the reprinted memoirs of Ellettsville's Rachel Peden; and local author Nancy Hiller's A Home of Her Own. Break Away Books debut series titles, The Swan: A Novel and The Glimpse Traveler will be available as well.
