Media advisory: Major announcement at IU School of Law-Indianapolis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Chancellor Charles R. Bantz and IU School of Law-Indianapolis Dean Gary R. Roberts will make a historic announcement on Thursday, Dec. 1.
WHAT: Press conference with IU President McRobbie, IUPUI Chancellor Bantz, Dean Roberts and others to make a major announcement about the future of the IU School of Law-Indianapolis.
WHEN: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1
WHERE: Atrium of Lawrence W. Inlow Hall, IU School of Law-Indianapolis, 530 W. New York St., Indianapolis.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Arrangements have been made for reporters to cover the event. Parking for media will be available in the circle drive outside the law school. A camera platform with audio plug-in will be available at the back of the room.
Broadcast-quality video of the conference will be delivered live to Indianapolis television stations via the Bloomington-to-Indy fiber link beginning at 1:30 p.m. Network affiliates are encouraged to contact local stations for assistance in obtaining a satellite feed.
All members of the IU community and the general public are invited to view the event via live-stream broadcasting at broadcast.iu.edu, where it will also be available on an archived basis.
The Indianapolis-based law school is the largest in Indiana, with more than 1,000 students. It has more than 10,000 alumni, who reside in every U.S. state and several foreign countries.
