FRIDAY, APRIL 15, 2005
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Seventy-six employers with some 2,500 jobs to fill will participate in the Bloomington Job Fair on Monday (April 18) at the Harry Gladstein Fieldhouse on the Indiana University Bloomington campus.
The fair, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to students and the public at large, and admission is free. The fieldhouse is located at 1101 E. 17th St. next to Assembly Hall.
The event was jointly arranged by 4th District U.S. Rep. Steve Buyer and 9th District U.S. Rep. Mike Sodrel.
Tom Healy, IU vice president for government relations, said the university is pleased to host the event because it offers yet another way that IU can make a contribution to economic growth in the Bloomington region.
"We hope everyone who is looking for a job -- or looking for a better job -- will take advantage of this opportunity," Healy said.
