BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana University Varsity Club and IU Alumni Association have released the schedule (see below) for the annual IU Athletics Tailgate Tour. The Tailgate Tour allows Hoosier fans to support IU Athletics and learn about the success of student-athletes both on and off the field. It also allows IU's head coaches to provide insights on the 2012-13 athletic seasons.

"The Tailgate Tour is one of my favorite times of the year," Glass said. "We love to hit the road, meet with alumni and other fans in their own areas and get fellow Hoosiers fired up for the upcoming seasons. With six head coaches being featured, we are looking forward to a fantastic tour this year and hope to set new records for fan attendance!"

Head coaches featured on the tour are Tom Crean (men's basketball), Kevin Wilson (football), Sherry Dunbar (volleyball), Ray Looze (swimming), Todd Yeagley (men's soccer) and new women's basketball coach Curt Miller. Each of the six 2012 Tailgate Tour stops will include one or more of the featured head coaches.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of the 2012 tour," Miller said. "With phenomenal facilities and a state that loves basketball, I'm incredibly optimistic and am looking forward to sharing my vision for the future with our dedicated fans."

The tour is presented by the IU Varsity Club, IU Alumni Association and the I Association.

"The Tailgate Tour is an outstanding opportunity for IU alumni to meet head coaches and hear what's in store for the coming year in IU Athletics," said J T. Forbes, executive director of the IU Alumni Association. "We look forward to meeting alumni fans in each city and sharing the spirit of IU with them."

Each Tailgate Tour event will feature a reception or meal and program. Event times and prices vary for each event. Guests will also have an opportunity to purchase 2012 football season tickets at each tour stop.
