Undergraduate fine art award deadline is Nov. 15 at IU Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education is issuing a call to undergraduate students to submit their artwork created during the 2012 calendar year at IU Bloomington.
A faculty jury will judge the works, and purchase awards will be given to first-, second- and third-place entries in the amounts of $1,000, $500 and $250, respectively. The winning works will also be displayed on the Bloomington campus.
The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Fine Art Award promotes creative activity and seeks to recognize and reward artistic excellence, as well as to recognize the achievements of IU Bloomington undergraduates through this competition and the ongoing exhibition of work resulting from it.
Students may submit two-dimensional and three-dimensional works in a variety of media. All submissions must be delivered to Maxwell Hall, Room 100, no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15.
