FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Feb. 5, 2007

Sara K. Gould

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Sara K. Gould, president and chief executive officer of the Ms. Foundation for Women, will present a public lecture in the Business/SPEA library of Indiana University Bloomington at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Feb. 6). The topic of the lecture is "How the landscape for women and philanthropy has changed in the past 25 years." A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture.

The Ms. Foundation is the country's oldest multi-issue women's fund and the creator of Take Our Daughters to Work® Day. Gould has been with the foundation for more than 20 years and is responsible for such initiatives as the Collaborative Fund for Women's Economic Development, which has provided more than $10 million in support of organizations creating jobs for low-income women, and the Institute for Women's Economic Empowerment, which has trained thousands of grassroots leaders to help women achieve greater economic independence.

The lecture will take place in room 150J of the Business/SPEA library. The library is on the lower level of the Business/SPEA complex, which is located at the Northeast corner of Tenth Street and Fee Lane. Easiest access is from the rear entrance of the building.
