IU Trustees to announce next president

INDIANAPOLIS -- At 4 p.m. this afternoon the Trustees of Indiana University will select the 18th president of Indiana University.
The vote will be taken during a meeting in the Auditorium at University Place Conference Center, 850 W. Michigan St. at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. A news conference will follow at 5 p.m., also in the Auditorium. Parking for media -- including satellite trucks -- will be available on Blake Street, adjacent to the conference center. All other meetings associated with the IU Trustees for today and tomorrow will take place in the originally scheduled rooms.
Arrangements have been made for media to cover the activities. All members of the university community and the public are invited to watch this historic vote and press conference, which will be broadcast live to the IU campuses.
