Media advisory: Expert comments on EPA chief's refusal to draw timetable

EDITORS: Yesterday, Stephen Johnson, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, appeared before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee to field questions regarding his plans to respond to the recent Supreme Court ruling requiring the EPA to investigate greenhouse gas emissions. Johnson refused to indicate and how and when he would comply with the federal ruling, angering a number of Senate democrats including committee chairman Barbara Boxer.
