IU Diversity Committees to meet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Two Indiana University Diversity Committees will meet in coming days. The IU Kokomo Diversity Committee will meet on Wednesday (June 4) at 3 p.m. in the Bogle Room (KO130) of the Main Building on the Kokomo campus. The IU East Diversity Committee will meet on June 11 at 10 a.m. in the Distinguished Alumni Room in Whitewater Hall on the Richmond campus.
The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
