IU Diversity Committees to meet

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Two Indiana University Diversity Committees are scheduled to meet in coming days. The IU Bloomington Diversity Committee will meet on Monday (Nov. 3) from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Charter Room of the Indiana Memorial Union on the Bloomington campus. The IU Kokomo Diversity Committee will meet next Thursday (Nov. 6) from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Bogle Room (KO 130) of the Main Building on the Kokomo campus.
The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
