IU Diversity Committees to meet in January

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana University Diversity Committees are scheduled to meet on four IU campuses in January.
On Wednesday (Jan. 14), the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Diversity Management Group will meet at 4 p.m. in Room 103 of the Administrative Office (AO) Building on the Indianapolis campus, and the IU Southeast Diversity Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in University Center South on the New Albany campus.
On Thursday (Jan. 15), the IU Kokomo Diversity Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in Room 132 of the Kelley Center on the Kokomo campus.
On Jan. 26, the IU East Diversity Committee will meet at 3 p.m. in the Community Room of Whitewater Hall on the Richmond campus.
The Indiana Code requires that similar committees be formed on all campuses to review and recommend faculty employment policies concerning diversity issues; review faculty and administration personnel complaints concerning diversity issues; make recommendations to promote and maintain cultural diversity among faculty members; and make recommendations to promote recruitment and retention of minority students.
