WHAT: This year's symposium examines the extent to which patients are trusted as emerging models of health care and health care financing place greater emphasis on patient choice and engagement. Workshop on Natural Resource Agreements

WHAT: This event will gather a group of experts from practice and academia to discuss the many tiers of agreements that precede and underlie natural resource extraction projects. Patient-centered Care and Personal Health Technologies

WHAT: Nicholas Terry, Hall Render Professor of Law at the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and Co-director of the William S. and Christine S. Hall Center for Law and Health, will examine the disruptive effects of health information technologies and inquire into the potential for such technologies to improve patient engagement and drive more patient-centered or shared care.

WHAT: The School of Liberal Arts Sabbatical Speaker Series: Dispositional empathic concern is the tendency to experience concerned, sympathetic, or compassionate reactive outcomes in response to the needs of others. The principle of care is the internalized moral value that one should help those in need. Are either of the two--dispositional empathic concern or the principle of care--strongly associated with charitable giving to help others in need?
