Kruzan to speak at Hoosiers for Higher Education Statehouse visit

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan will speak during the Monday (Feb. 23) noon luncheon gathering of Hoosiers for Higher Education in Indianapolis. Indiana University President Adam W. Herbert originally was scheduled to address the group during the luncheon.

Kruzan served as a state representative for Bloomington from 1986 to 1994 and is an IU graduate.

A total of 450 HHE members, faculty, staff and students representing all eight IU campuses and the university's Columbus location are expected to participate in the event, which will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Westin Hotel. About 45 legislators and elected officials are expected to participate.

Hoosiers for Higher Education is a statewide organization of more than 10,000 alumni, students, parents and friends of Indiana University who are dedicated to promoting higher education in Indiana. More information and registration for the event can be found at: https://www.indiana.edu/~hhe/.
