Lindenstrauss is an Israeli mathematician and winner of the 2010 Fields Medal whose main research areas are ergodic theory, dynamical systems, and their applications to number theory.

WHAT: Marina Wolf, Ph.D., Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science will focus on our recent work showing that group I metabotropic glutamate receptors, which are expressed postsynaptically in medium spiny neurons, can be targeted to remove CP-AMPARs from NAc synapses of rats that have undergone incubation of cocaine craving.

Award-winning filmmaker Spike Lee highlights ArtsWeek 2011
WHEN: Feb. 26, 7 p.m.
WHERE: IU Auditorium, 1211 E. Seventh St., Bloomington
WHAT: Award-winning film director Spike Lee, among the best-known filmmakers today, will appear at IU Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 26, as the signature event of the 27th annual ArtsWeek.
COST: Free. General admission tickets for Lee's lecture will be issued to IU Bloomington students with a valid student ID beginning Monday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at the IU Auditorium Box Office. Non-IU students and the public will be able to obtain free general admission tickets beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at the IU Auditorium Box Office. There will be a ticket limit of eight per person.
