Women's Water Polo: The No. 17 Indiana Hoosiers (5-8) women's water polo team scored six second half goals, including three from Lauren Wyckoff in the fourth period to hold off Princeton, 9-8, and win their third consecutive game. Read the game notes.

Elinor Ostrom study funded by Swedish agency
Swedishwire.com, March 6 -- Researchers at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and the Indiana University in the United States are taking part in a three-year, $2.4 million Swedish government-backed study of natural resource management. The project builds on work by IU political scientist and 2009 Nobel Prize winner Elinor Ostrom. Full story.
IU-Notre Dame Facility to be Dedicated
InsideINdianaBusiness.com Report, March 4 -- A dedication ceremony will be held next week in South Bend for Harper Hall, a $20 million facility for expanded medical and cancer research initiatives. The building houses the Mike and Josie Harper Cancer Research Institute, a collaboration between the University of Notre Dame and the Indiana University School of Medicine-South Bend. Scientists from both universities will use the office and lab space to research cancer biology. Full story.
Jeff grad helps bring solar power to IU campus
JConline.com, March 7 -- Sometime this spring, a solar panel will be placed on the roof of the Indiana University Memorial Union building. And a 2009 Jefferson High School graduate will have a lot to do with it. IU sophomore Nick McKay is a member of Coal Free IU, a group of students sponsored by the Sierra Club. The group recently won a $12,000 grant from the Indiana University Student Foundation to install a 2-kilowatt solar photovoltaic array on the roof of the union. Full story.
