Kohli earns all-star honors as Hoosier trio competes in Canadian Senior Nationals

WINNIPEG, MB, Canada -- Three members of the Indiana Hoosiers women's water polo team participated in the 2011 Canadian Senior National Club Championships on May 27-29 at the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg, MB. Jakie Köhli and Meghan Lappan competed for the Pacific Storm, while Shae Fournier played for the Winnipeg Bushido club team.

Köhli earned a spot on the tournament's All-Star team after scoring 13 goals over the course of six games, while leading the Storm to a bronze medal game victory over the Calgary Renegades. Köhli's highest scoring output of the weekend came in a narrow loss to eventual winner Club de WP de Camo, as she torched the nets for four goals, each coming in the first half.

Lappan had a productive weekend as well, scoring five goals. The pair helped the Storm to a 3-3 overall record at the event.

Fournier scored four goals during the tournament and her Winnipeg Bushido squad finished 0-4-1.
