The love story of a small-town girl who hits the Sunset Strip and falls in love with a big-city dreamer is told through the greatest songs of the '80s, including memorable anthems by Journey, Night Ranger, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and many more.

"Rock of Ages" is a worldwide phenomenon with productions in Australia, London and South Korea as well as Broadway, featuring 28 classic rock tunes such as "Don't Stop Believin'," "We Built This City," "The Final Countdown," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "Here I Go Again," "Harden My Heart," "Can't Fight this Feeling," "Renegade" and "I Want to Know What Love Is."

"'Rock of Ages' is the epitome of guilty pleasures -- really, one of the best times you'll have at the Auditorium," IU Auditorium director Doug Booher said. "This concert production is filled with '80s-neon sets, big hair and epic music you'll catch yourself singing for weeks afterward. It's high-energy, nonstop fun from beginning to end."

"Rock of Ages" is directed by Tony Award nominee Kristin Hanggi ("Bare," "Pussycat Dolls on the Sunset Strip"); and choreographed by Kelly Devine (associate choreographer, "Jersey Boys"); with a book by Chris D'Arienzo (writer and director of the film "Barry Munday"); original arrangements by David Gibbs ("Counting Crows," "That Thing You Do"); and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp ("Tarzan," "We Will Rock You," "Mamma Mia.")
