Cacao fruit

KA2-101, a specially bred cacao cultivar, was developed by the Cacao and Coconut Research Institute in Papua New Guinea. KA2-101 was one of the parents used to map the cacao genome, and is also used in the production of commercial seed.2010Photo by Ray Schnell, USDA-ARSCacao fruit
