BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Bob Dylan and his band will perform at IU Auditorium Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. as part of their fall tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 9, at 10 a.m.

Performing more than 100 concerts each year for the past 15 years, Bob Dylan also appears on the radio each week on the satellite radio program Theme Time Radio Hour. In recent years, he has also received the big-screen treatment, courtesy of film director Martin Scorsese, with the critically acclaimed release of No Direction Home, the first feature-length film biography of Bob Dylan. He also spent 20 weeks on the New York Times best seller list with Chronicles: Volume One, the first in a series of the artist's autobiography. Dylan has earned multiple Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Kennedy Center Honor.

"We are proud to host such an influential artist in the realm of American music," said IU Auditorium Director Doug Booher. "Having Dylan in the intimate setting of IU Auditorium will create long-lasting memories for our audience."

After debuting at No. 1 with his last record, Modern Times, Dylan released a brand new studio album, Together Through Life, this spring which also debuted at No. 1 and received high reviews from MOJO, The London Telegraph and the New York Times. Dylan will release a holiday album, Christmas In The Heart, on Oct. 13. All royalties from sales of these recordings will be donated to Feeding America, guaranteeing that more than 4 million meals will be provided to more than 1.4 million people in need in this country during this year's holiday season.

Bob Dylan is presented by Jam Productions. For more information about IU Auditorium, see www.iuauditorium.com.
