McRobbie to preside over tomorrow's Cyberinfrastructure Building groundbreaking
Event marking expansion of IU technology park begins at 11 a.m.

Editors: Indiana University will conduct a groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow (April 29) at 11 a.m. to celebrate construction of IU Bloomington's new Cyberinfrastructure Building. The Cyberinfrastructure Building, referred to as the CIB, joins the IU Data Center and the IU Innovation Center in the evolving technology park at 10th and the Bypass in Bloomington.
WHAT: Groundbreaking for the $37 million, 123,000-square-foot Cyberinfrastructure Building.
WHEN: Thursday, April 29, at 11 a.m.
WHERE: Intersection of 10th Street and Indiana State Road 45/46 Bypass, Bloomington. In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will take place at the Intercollegiate Athletics Gymnasium located nearby at 2721 E. 10th Street.
WHO: IU President Michael A. McRobbie, Provost Karen Hanson and Vice President for Information Technology Brad Wheeler will be among the guest speakers.
